All in all we had a great weekend. Colton really enjoyed the Fall Festival. There were ball pits and bounce houses, free food and face painting and a hayride. He was pretty exhausted by the end of the day, as were Grammy and I. He went right to sleep at bedtime and I settled in to watch a very exciting night of football. About 10:30, I heard him fussing and then it turned into crying and saying "my momma." I let him fuss for a couple minutes but when it turned to crying, I went to see what was wrong because it is unusual for him to wake up at night. I patted his back and he was a little restless, rolling around in his bed. I left and he started crying again at 11:00. Same thing, I went in and patted his back and he quieted down. At 2:00, he was crying again. I loaded up the syringe with Advil thinking maybe he had a little headache or was sore from all his playing that day (he took a header going over one wall once and landed awkwardly a couple times). The second I walked in, he would stop crying. I gave him the Advil and covered him back up and went back to bed. I didn't hear from him again until 7:15 and he was his usual happy self.
That looks like such a fun weekend! Tyler loves those bounce houses too.
